Yellow Metal Above Rs 1 Lakh Per Tola in Nepal: For The First Time In The History

Fine Gold in domestic market is traded at Rs 101,400 per tola and silver at Rs 1,295 per tola today creating a new record.

N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: The gold price rises creating a new record by Rs 1600 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FeNeGoSiDA), the price of fine gold has shifted to Rs 101,400 per tola today from Rs 99,800 per tola yesterday. The rise in price of gold is in sync to international market, where price of gold is continuously rising.

Likewise, price of Tejabi gold is marked at Rs 100,900 per tola.

Followed by, silver is marked at Rs 1,295 per tola, with the increase by Rs 65 per tola from yesterday.

*1 tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
