YAN’s cadre vandalize eight vehicles to enforce strike


KATHMANDU: Eight vehicles were vandalized in course of the four-hour bandh enforced by the Youth Association Nepal across the country today.

In the capital, the bandh enforcers vandalized a vehicle (Ba.1Ga.2263) owned by the Bhaktapur municipality and a truck (Ba. 2Kha.2234) at Sallaghari, a taxi (Ba.1Ja.155) at Chappal kharkhana, Kathmandu and a passenger bus (Ba. 1 Kha. 6371) at Banepa Municipality-11 of Kavre, according to police.

The Central Police Newsroom also adds that the bandh organizers vandalized a truck (Ba.1Ka.4496) and tempo (Na.1Ha.727) in Chitwan, and two trucks (Na.2Kha. 5056) and (Na.2Kha.9686) in Hetauda.

One person involved in vandalizing a vehicle was arrested from Chappal Kharkhana of Kathmandu, police said. RSS
