World Cyclists spreading the message of Peace welcomed in Japan


SANDESH POKHAREL /  NAGOYA JAPAN: Three Nepalese Cyclists, who have been on the world peace tour spreading the message that Buddha was born in Nepal, were welcomed in Nagoya city of Japan.

 The members of the caravan, who have been travelling the world with the slogan ‘World Peace Tour: Peace in World’ were welcomed by NRN Japan by holding a special program. Three members of the team are Binod Sharma of Myagdi, Saroj Aryal of Chitwan and Hari Shresth.

Advisor of the Association Mohan Khatri welcomed the participants by offering khada and wished for the success of their trip. The program attended by chairperson of NRN Japan Dilaram Kharel, Member Keshar Giri and Advisor Paras Mani Pokharel among other persons was chaired by Bishnu Prasad Ghimire. The world travelers were also provided 20 thousand yen to them.

One of the members of the mission Saroj Aryal informed that they plan to organize peace march in all the countries they have been travelling. They also requested organizers to organize such march in Japan as they are staying there till 14th June. They also complained that they were neglected by the Nepali Embassy in Japan. They added that the embassy did not pay attention to their visit although they have received support in different countries.

They however expressed their happiness that NRN Japan will support them by purchasing plane till Korea. The participants are departing to Australia through Korea on 15th June.
