Gurung informed that his party will participate in a national consensus government formed as provisioned by article 38(1) of the Inteirm Constiution while speaking at a program organized by Revolutionary Journalist Association in Panchathar.
On the occasion, Gurung ruled out the possibility of drafting the new constitution in the leadership of incumbent Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and stressed on the need to form a national consensus government at the earliest.
He accused PM Bhattarai of working against the spirit of interim constitution and comprehensive peace agreement by trying to amend the interim constitution through ordinances.
Gurung said that his party will not participate in the CA elections decided by the government unilaterally.
