
KATHMANDU: Water level in most of rivers in the nation is falling since Saturday morning.
Water level in Babai, Rapti, Narayani and East Rapti is falling and below warning level, according to the Flood Forecasting Project of Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
The Project said water level in Karnali and Koshi, however, are still above warning level.
Whereas water level in Karnali River at Chisapani is falling, it is still 10.74 m and above warning level as of 1:00 am today.
As of 7:30 pm yesterday, it was rising and higher than danger level.
According to the Project, the only River that has rising water level as per the latest update is Koshi.
As of 12:35 pm, the water level in the River at Chatara is 57.2 m and it is above warning level.
