Was Jiah Khan drinking when she committed suicide?

The saga of Jiah Khan’s suicide, a month after she took her own life by hanging, is far from over. Recently released forensic reports indicate that Jiah had alcohol in her bloodstream when she died.

Newspaper reports say that the Kalina forensic laboratory in Bombay has submitted its report to the Mumbai Police confirming that Jiah had alcohol in her bloodstream. Neither the police nor forensic experts are willing to comment on the findings.

It remains to be seen whether this revelation will have any impact on the case involving Jiah’s former boyfriend Suraj Pancholi, who was arrested by the police on charges of abetting the starlet’s suicide since his name was mentioned in her suicide note. Suraj, who flew to Hyderabad last Thursday to meet mentor actor Salman Khan, will now debut earlier than originally planned in the remake of Rajkumar Santoshi’s 1983 film Hero. His heroine will be Athiya Shetty, Sunil Shetty‘s daughter.
