
KATHMANDU: Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun called on President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen on Monday. During the meeting held at President’s office, Hofburg, matters relating to bilateral relations between the two countries other aspects of mutual cooperation and collaboration were discussed.
Saying Nepal and Austria are friendly countries, Vice-President Pun said that the relation between the two countries is being further strengthened. The Vice-President expressed happiness towards Austria’s wish for collaboration on different areas with Nepal, said VP Pun’s press coordinator Manoj Gharti Magar.
On the occasion, the President of Austria briefed VP Pun about current state of affairs of Austria.
Minister for Forest and Environment, Shakti Bahadur Basnet,Nepali Ambassador to Austria, Prakash Kumar Subedi, Joint-Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bharat Raj Poudel, among others were present on the occasion.
Vice-President Pun also visited Nepal Art Exhibition taking place at Hofburg Museum today itself.
