VC Maharjan stresses reform in administrative education


KATHMANDU: Vice Chancellor of the Tribhuvan University, Prof. Hira Bahadur Maharjan , has pointed out the need of timely reforms in the management and quality of the Public Administration Campus.

Addressing a programme marking the 37th Establishment Day of the Public Administration Campus here on Wednesday, he said there is the need of reforms in the public administration curriculum taught at the Campus to suit the world scenario so that the human resources produced by the Campus would be able to play a leadership role in the country’s administration.

Rector Prof. Gunanidhi Neupane suggested the Campus to develop research-based education system as there is always the need of skilled administrators for the all-round development of the country.

Campus Chief Dr. Govinda Prasad Dhakal stressed that TU should take the necessary lead in the development of physical infrastructure of the Campus.

Member of the Public Service Commission (PSC), Krishna Pokharel, pointed out the need of developing the kind of education such that it would boost the administration that can take far-reaching decisions on matters of national and international importance. RSS
