U.S. Ambassador to Nepal, Peter W. Bodde has said that his country wanted to see a stable, prosperous and democratic Nepal and that it was ready to provide whatever support it can for its economic and social development.
Ambassador Bodde was speaking in a reception organized in his honor by Nepal-America Chamber of Commerce and Industry today. He said the prosperity of Nepal and the Nepalis is his country’s wish.
President of Nepal-America Chamber of Commerce, Narendra Kumar Basnyat, said that the United States of America has been providing cooperation for Nepal’s development since more than six decades, adding that more U.S. support was expected for expanding the bilateral trade.
