N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- The US government has provided additional 664,560 doses of corona vaccine to Nepal through COVAX. It is said that these vaccines will be given to the school-going students of Nepal soon.

The US Embassy in Kathmandu believes that the 12- to the 17-year-old vaccine will play a vital role in protecting schools, communities, and families from Covid 19. The US government is committed to working together to defeat the Coronavirus.

In the last week of October, the US government had provided one lakh 620 doses of Pfizer vaccine to the Government of Nepal. The vaccine was given to a person over the age of 12 who has been chronically ill since the second week of November.

The Pfizer vaccine should be kept at 80 Degree Celsius for a long time, but it can be kept at two to eight Degree Celsius for a month.

This vaccine should be given in 2 doses at intervals of 21 days. Those with a weakened immune system may take the third dose 28 days after the second dose. Others may apply a third booster dose at least 6 months after the second dose.

The vaccine, which received emergency permission for use in December last year, received full approval from the FDA on August 23 last year.

People with allergic reactions should not be vaccinated. The US CDC says that people with severe or mild allergic reactions should not be vaccinated.

Also, those who have an allergic reaction to the first dose are advised not to take the second dose of the vaccine. The CDC states that such allergic reactions can be treated with epinephrine or epinephrine. In case of serious side effects, seek immediate medical attention.

If you notice problems such as swelling, difficulty breathing, blisters within 4 hours of vaccination, you should remember that there is an immediate allergic reaction. Those who are not vaccinated against Pfizer may be eligible for other types of vaccines.

Common side effects are pain, redness, and swelling of the vaccinated arm. You may also experience side effects such as fatigue, headaches, muscle aches, fever, nausea, and winter.

Such side effects can occur within one to two days after vaccination. Such side effects indicate that the body is building protection and will disappear on its own in a few days, the CDC said.

The vaccine is 95 percent effective in preventing corona infections in people over 16 years of age. The vaccine has been shown to be 95 percent effective in preventing infection in those who have had no previous evidence of infection and have received both doses of the vaccine.

The vaccine is also highly effective in people between the ages of 12 and 15. The vaccine has been found to be as effective in developing the immune system in people between the ages of 12 and 15 as it is in people between the ages of 16 and 25.
