UML leaders stresses on holding parliamentary elections


N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel has said that the political parties should go for parliamentary elections to end the ongoing political crisis.

Addressing the ninth district convention of the CPN (UML), Makawanpur, Pokhrel said that the UCPN (Maoist) was wishing to reinstate the dissolved constituent assembly with an intention of imposing authoritarianism in the country.

He said that the UML would move ahead by joining hands with other parties too in a bid to stop increasing interference of different foreign forces and end the country’s political crisis. As many as 470 UML party cadres are present in the programme.
