
Kathmandu: One of the three major political parties, CPN (UML) has condemned the secessionist remarks issued by Ministers and leaders United Madhesi Democratic Front (UDMF) on Saturday in the capital.
The two-day politburo meeting of the party held in the capital concluded that the warnings from the Madheshi leaders disintegrate the country if ‘one madhesh one pradhesh’ was not granted was condemnable.
Stating that the ministers issuing such anti-nationalist claims while retaining ministerial portfolios should be grilled, the meet called on the government to take actions against its ministers.
The meeting has also lobby to opt for referendum to resolve the number of federal states to be adopted in the new constitution.
