UML Chairman Oli’s question to PM Deuba: Whether to approve MCC or not?

N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has sought the views of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-Maoist Center Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda on the US-backed Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement.

Addressing a CPN-UML Kathmandu Metropolitan level program on Saturday, he questioned the views of Deuba and Prachanda on MCC.

Stating that they were trying to pass the MCC by lying, Oli expressed his indignation saying that the leader of the alliance did not say anything about it.

“These are the people. They did MCC when they were Congress and Maoists, now they don’t speak MCC. They may have tried to pass by lying, ”said Oli. What should the MCC do in front of the people now? Sher Bahadur Deubaji does not have to say what should MCC do? And Prachandaji should not speak. What should MCC do? Signed yesterday, what to do MCC? They are silent. ‘

“There is no border dispute with China. A committee should be formed to resolve the border dispute with China to please whom,” he said. “My challenge is for this committee to show a border dispute somewhere.”

Oli also said that the government was straining relations with India and China.
