N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal’s faction central members have decided not to attend the central committee meeting convened by the CPN-UML for today.

Dissolving the Organizing Committee of the Tenth General Convention, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chairperson, convened a meeting of the Central Committee. A meeting has been called for 11 a.m. Friday.

According to party office secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang, a central committee meeting will be held in Baluwatar.

A meeting of the standing committee of the Nepali side held at a hotel in Buddhanagar on Thursday had decided not to participate in the central committee meeting to be held on Friday.

Vice-Chairman Yubaraj Gyawali said that it was decided not to participate as the meeting was convened without consensus.
