Two drowned to death in Dang


TULSIPUR: Two people died in separate incidents in Dang on Saturday.  Ghanashyam Basnet, 15, of Tulsipur municipality-8, Tikari died after drowned in Patu rivulet, confirmed Police Inspector at Tulsipur-based Area Police Office, Madan Thapa.

Basnet, who reached the rivulet to take bath, died after he drowned while swimming.

Likewise, an elderly woman also died after she drowned in Majhariya canal at Sisahaniya VDC of Deukhuri, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Puni Kumari Gautam, 62, of Sisahaniya VDC-2.

She died after she slipped into the canal water while walking across its side. RSS
