TANHUN:- Landslide has buried two persons to death in Bandipur rural municipality-3, Tamung. One among three others injured is said to be critical, police said.
The deceased are Saraswoti Thapa, 30, and Harimaya Basel, 70, of Tamung. Both died on the spot, said ward member Harka Bahadur Thapa.
Saraswoti’s father-in-law Dil Bahadur Magar, mother-in-law Daurimaya Magar and brother-in-law Suwas Thapa sustained injuries in the landslide.
The landslide has put four houses at risk, he shared. The landslide had buried the house, said deputy chief of the rural municipality, Karuna Gurung.
People’s representatives are heading to the landslide-hit area on foot, she informed.
