TU examinations put off over Omicron

KATHMANDU:- In view of rising threat of Omicron variant of Corona Virus, the Tribhuvan University has postponed all ongoing examinations. This will come into effect from January 23 until further notice.
A TU meeting on Thursday took a decision in this regard. “Most of the examinations under the TU have been completed, some other underway and preparations for others have been over. However, the variant has been fast spreading across the country including in the Kathmandu Valley and students sitting in the tests, examination staffs, lecturers and professors of the University have contracted the virus. So a meeting of the TU central examination board of directors decided to put off all annual and semester examinations,” according to a statement issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
