Tiger kills 21 goats in three days in Eastern Nepal


OKHALDHUNGA: Twenty-one goats were killed by a tiger at Palapu of Champadevi rural municipality-1 and 2 in Okhaldhunga district in three days.
Nine goats belonging to a local Masali Maya were killed by a tiger on Wednesday morning. Similarly, the tiger killed five goats of Jhalal Bahadur Magar and two of Baburam Shrestha of the same area on Monday.
People’s representative of the local-level, Kul Bahadur Shrestha said that one goat each of Bal Bahadur Shrestha, Dhanimaya Magar, Megh Bahadur Shrestha, Ek Bahadur Shrestha and Asaman Magar was also killed by tiger on Monday.
A local Hira Bahadur Shrestha was injured in tiger attack and is receiving treatment at Khurkot of Sindhuli district.
