Three members of the same family died after falling into a trap set by Wild boar


N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU- Three members of the same family have died in an electric trap set to kill Wild boar. According to police, three members of the same family were electrocuted in Thakur Baba Municipality of Bardiya at around 10 last night.

The deceased have been identified as Bal Krishna Tharu, 32, his wife Sunita Tharu, 29, and his brother-in-law Belmati Tharu, 43, of Thakur Baba Municipality-3.

Initially, one person was electrocuted while two others were electrocuted, said Police Inspector Rokaya. Raj Bahadur Shahi, 83, was arrested for trapping Wild boar, police said.

According to the police, further investigation is underway.
