
KATHMANDU:- Police on Monday arrested three Indian citizens involved in robbing a Nepali citizen at Gaimare of Godavari municipality-4 in Kailali district.
They are Bhagat Singh, 21, Sahil Badlise, 17, and Sunny Jet, 20, of Hariyana of India, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Bed Prakash Joshi. They were arrested from Aishwarya Community Forest at Godavari municipality-1.
Joshi shared that all the Indian nationals asked computer operator of Alitaal rural municipality, Lokendra Singh Bhandari, for a lift to Khanidanda as Bhandari was driving a car (Province 03-01-023 Cha 8721) to Alitaal of Dadeldhura from Bhimdutta municipality of Kanchanpur.
The Indians took Bhandari some 50 meters off the road in the pretext of taking photo and thrashed him. It is said that the looters tied hands and legs of Bhandari and escaped along with Bhandari’s mobile set, money purse as well as the car.
