Three killed in road mishap in Kailali, Western Nepal


KAILALI:- Three persons were killed when a winger van (Ma 1 Ja 319) and an auto (Se 1 Ha 2510) collided head-on at Rajipur of Gauriganga Municipality-4 in Kailali district last night.
The deceased have been identified as Yuvaraj Chaudhary, 24, Bhigam Chaudhary, 26, and Jiten Chaudhary, 19, of Ghodaghodi Municipality-9, Kailali, according to the District Police Office, Kailali. Four others have been injured in the accident. The injured have been identified as Suresh Chaudhary, 22, Dipendra Chaudhary, 24, Ashant Chaudhary, 20, and Hari Chaudhary, 30, of Ghodaghodi-9.
The van’s driver’s assistant Dhanu Rawal, 25, of Vedkot Municipality-10 of Kanchanpur has sustained minor injuries. The search for the van driver is on as he is absconding, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kailali, Prateek Bista.
