BAJHAG:- Three persons were killed and four others went missing in the landslide that buried a total of 17 houses at Kedarsyaung Rural Municipality-8 in the district last night.
According to Ward Chair Ganesh Bohora, 11-year-old Sunta Jethara, 7-year-old Asmita Jethara and 11-year-old Prayag Raj Jethara were killed and their bodies recovered.
Similarly, 80-year-old Dale Jethara, 20-year-old Jiraja Jethara, 44-year-old Ramadevi Jethara and seven-year old Shanta Jethara have gone missing in the landslide.
Chief District Officer Kamal Raj Bhandari confirmed the loss of lives and property. However, detailed information is awaited, he added.
