Three, including foreigner, arrested for reportedly sexually abusing children
KATHMANDU: The team of Nepal Police deployed from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has arrested three persons, including a British national, on the charge of pedophilia. The police have rescued three Nepali children from their clutches of wrongdoers.
British citizen Ayan Robert Khloe and his two Nepali assistants were on suspicion of sexually molesting children. Police, acting on a tip off, raided the British man’s rented apartment at Kalimati in Kathmandu and arrested the British national and two Nepalis.
According to CIB Spokesperson Uma Prasad Chaturbedi, the three children were rescued from the rented apartment of Khloe. A case on sodomy and misdemeanor of lewdness involving child has been lodged against the arrest. Further investigation into the case was underway by remanding the accused in custody for five more days.
