Three French climbers go missing for six days


SOLUKHUMBU:- Three French nationals arrived here to climb the Khangteka peak at Khumbu region in the district have gone missing for six days.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office Kahit Katwal informed that the French nationals gone missing are Thomas, Gabiral and Luis.

They had embarked the expedition in a group of eight via Holiday Himalaya Treks and Expedition Pvt on October 4. The three French went out of contact since October 26.

Search for them is underway, Katwal added, saying Kailash Air was requested for a chopper for the search of the missing.

However, five others from the same team came into contact.
