Three children buried under clay mound


MELAMCHI: Three  children, who had gone to drink water, died on the spot after being buried under clay mound at Bhote chour VDC-2 in Sindhupalchowk district this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Rabi Karki, 13, Samiksha  Karki, 9, and Srijana Khatri, 14.  The incident took place after the mound along with stones fell upon them and buried them when they had gone to drink water. The children were there to graze goats.

Three other children were also injured in the incident and are undergoing treatment at local health centre, said police. RSS
