There is a dearth of actors in the film industry: Dipendra Lama

KATHMANDU:- Dipendra Lama, the director of a superhit film like ‘Cha Maya Chapakkai’, has said that there is a dearth of actors in the film industry. He says that the arrival of new faces is necessary to increase the range of artists in the film industry. He has worked with actors in his three films ‘Ghampani, Gopi and Cha Maya Chapakkai’ and says that new actors should also be given a break.

He is about to debut Kunsang Bomjan as the protagonist of his new film ‘Ghuincho’. Artists like Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Anmol KC, Pradip Khadka and others have no choice but to give a date. Therefore, the arrival of a new face is necessary to increase the range of the artist. ‘

Lama, who made his directorial debut in the film ‘Ghampani’, said that getting a debut is a great opportunity for everyone. He goes on to say, “We have to give someone a break. We are happy to have Kunsang debuted. If Kunsang can show his talent in this, he can be seen by others and the industry will also get a new face. Interestingly, Dipendra Lama has signed a contract after the cast was finalized in ‘Ghuincho’. In the world, it is rare for an actor to be a finalist in a film before a director. Lama says, ‘It may seem strange to think so. But, after I come in the film, it moves forward according to my concept. ‘He says that he became attached after being attracted by the script of the film.
