KATHMANDU:- The lowest temperature of the year was recorded in Kathmandu on Sunday morning. The minimum temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 5.4 degrees Celsius, according to the Water and Meteorological Department. The minimum temperature on Saturday was 5.6 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature on Sunday will be only 19 to 21 degrees Celsius.
The temperature has risen in the morning and evening as the minimum and maximum temperatures have dropped. It is foggy in the morning in many parts of the country. The Terai region is also covered with thick fog. The weather will be partly cloudy in most parts of the country, the department said. There is a possibility of snowfall in the Himalayan region due to cold.
