Temperatures continue to drop, with the possibility of snowfall in the Himalayas


KATHMANDU:- With the onset of winter in Nepal, the temperature has been steadily declining. On Friday, the weather will be cloudy in most parts of the country and there is a possibility of snowfall in the Himalayan region, according to the Meteorological Department. There is a possibility of sporadic rain in one or two places in the hilly areas.There will be occasional light rain in Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, Lumbini and one or two places in the far western region. It has been raining in Kathmandu Valley in the morning. There is a possibility of snowfall even today in high hilly and mountainous areas.

There is a possibility of snow today and tomorrow due to the effect of water vapor coming from the Arabian Sea. The minimum temperature in Kathmandu was measured at 11.1 degrees Celsius on Friday. The weather is likely to be clear from Sunday. Meteorologists have asked to keep abreast of the weather conditions while hiking.
