Temperatures are dropping across the country, calling for vigilance


KATHMANDU:- Temperatures are dropping across the country. The Meteorological Department has called on all to remain vigilant saying that the temperature has risen. As the maximum and minimum temperature of the air is decreasing, the department has asked to be vigilant to avoid cold.

According to the Division, there is no significant weather system in Nepal at present. There will be partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country today and the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country.

Temperature is dropping significantly in hilly and mountainous regions including Kathmandu Valley. This year, the temperature has dropped faster than before. The minimum temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 11 degrees on Friday. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 23 degrees.
