KATHMANDU:- The Swiss government has donated two advanced RDT PCR testing machines to the State-1 government on Friday.
Swiss government special programme expert Aman Jonchhe handed over the machines to Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai amid a programme.
The machines have the capacity of testing on 96 specimens per hour. Receiving the machines, CM Rai said the machines would be installed at Mechi Hospital and State Laboratory Biratanagar.
Rai also committed to making the State a green zone after the COVID-109 outbreak is over. He also thanked the Swiss government for the support to the State government.
Swiss government representative Jonchhe also thanked State government for its efforts made to contain COVID-19 spread.
