Supermodel first look: Is Veena Malik trying to copy Priyanka Chopra in this B-grade film?

The first look of Supermodel was launched recently which stars Veena Malik in the lead role. But we have to say that it completely failed to impress us. When you look at the trailer, the first thing you notice is that it’s quite similar to Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion. The only difference is that the Veena Malik starrer is a B grade version of the Priyanka Chopra starrer.

Secondly, the much talked sizzling chemistry between Veena Malik and Ashmit Patel was not there. In fact we think the two were sizzling more during Bigg Boss 4.

Veena plays the role of a middle-class girl who reaches stardom in the film, which is based on the world of fashion and takes a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of models. Again, there is nothing new in that. We have seen Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra do that in Heroine and Fashion respectively.

To conclude, we can just say that Supermodel directed by Navin Batra doesn’t look promising at all.

All we can do now is, wait for the audience’s reaction!
