KATHMANDU: Chairman of the newly-formed CPN-Maoist, Mohan Baidya, urged the party cadres to take the process breakaway from the Unified CPN (Maoist) as a natural process.
Laying the foundation stone of Ichchhuk Cultural Foundation building here today, he said some former UCPN (Maoist) leaders separated and formed the new party after the UCPN-Maoist was not ready to transform as per the Marxist theory. He said unity, struggle, transformation and breakaway in a communist party was natural process.
Chairman Baidya said that formation of the new party was the beginning of a new chapter as the leaders of the new party would take a leading role to fulfill the unfulfilled dreams of the great fighters like Krishna Sen Ichchhuk.
He said formation of the revolutionary party was a must to pave a way to the current political transition.
On the occasion, Baidya said that the Ichchhuk Cultural Foundation should be developed as a broad research center.
He appreciated the life of Sen and said one and all should learn from the struggles of Ichchhuk and added he was a true revolutionary figure.
Vice-chairman of the Foundation Dr Rishiraj Baral said they had to struggle enough to establish the Foundation.
