BAGLUNG:- The Mid-Hill Pushpalal Highway that was obstructed following heavy snowfall on Friday has not resumed yet. Vehicular movement along the Baglung section of the highway is closed for four days now as the upper region of the district is blanketed with snow.
With this, the vehicles moving along the Baglung-Rukum Purba from Kathmandu are off the road while travelers are stranded. It is said that Nishikhola Rural Municipality and Patihalne in the bordering area of Rukum Purba witnessed heavy snowfall, a local Abin Gharti Magar said. The area received snowfall upto two feet.
The area received heavy snowfall three times this winter.
Chairman of Nishikhola Rural Municipality-6 Surya Bahadur Gharti Magar said that immediate resumption of the vehicular movement was unlikely due to massive snow.
