KATHMANDU: All Nepal Shareholders’ Association (ANSA) has welcomed the nine-point plan brought by Finance Minister Barshaman Pun last week for protecting the rights and interests of the shareholders.
The plan with the concept of margin lending has been brought for general improvements in the crisis situation seen in the country’s share market at present.
President of ANSA, advocate Ashok Upreti, stated in a press release that the general shareholders have seen the nine-point plan as an indicator of possibility of extensive reforms in the future. He said the plan is an outcme of the initiatives of Nepal Investment Forum, the Investors’ Association and other organizations working for the rights and interests of the shareholders.
The press release states that the Association shall always extend cooperation to any sustainable steps taken by the government for the stability and security of the share market. RSS
