The gang’s officially all back!
Nearly two months after Fox announced plans for a six-episode revival of the iconic 1990s hit Beverly Hills, 90210 to air this summer, original cast member Shannen Doherty has confirmed her involvement with the reboot.
Sharing a photo with her co-stars to Instagram on Friday, the 48-year-old actress captioned the throwback shot with, “Yes it’s official. The real question is…. will we still be rocking those outfits. #bh90210”
Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh on the series, was noticeably missing from the reboot’s announcement in February.

All seven actors will play “heightened versions of themselves in a brand-new serialized drama – with a healthy dose of irreverence – that is inspired by their real lives and relationships.”
According to the network, the show will follow the stars as they reunite for the first time in two decades in order attempt to get a 90210 reboot going.
“What will happen when first loves, old romances, friends and frenemies come back together, as this iconic cast – whom the whole world watched grow up together – attempts to continue from where they left off?” says Fox.
Perry’s absence certainly won’t go unnoticed by Doherty, who shared a photo of the duo to her Instagram Stories on Friday, shortly after announcing her involvement.
“Forever missed,” she captioned the sweet image.
Spelling accidentally confirmed the news of a Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot earlier this year.
“We were having coffee in between meetings with networks,” she explained about a recent paparazzi photo of the cast. “It’s confirmed. We’re doing a new 90210.”
She later opened up to PEOPLE about getting the chance to work with her former costars again and said that they would love to work alongside Doherty if she was interested.
“We’re all really excited to get back to work with each other every day,” said Spelling, 45. “We’ve come full circle and it feels really great. This is the ultimate high school reunion and we’re going to be back together every day and I’m so excited.”
Of Doherty, Spelling added that the cast “would love to have her on,” though there “is no status right now. But if she’s watching, we would love to have you do it.”
The original series ran for 10 seasons between 1990 and 2000. It starred Spelling, Garth, Priestley, Doherty and Perry as students at the posh West Beverly Hills High School in Los Angeles.
The CW famously rebooted it in 2008 under the title 90210, with Spelling, Garth and Doherty reprising their roles at various points throughout the show. It ran for five seasons until 2013.
