Separate road accidents across the nation kill 3


KATHMANDU:  Two persons were killed when a jeep met with an accident at Arubata of Siddheshwor- 8 in Baitadi this morning. The jeep (Se 1 Ja 252) that was heading towards Dhangadhi from Baitadi fell 400 meters down from the road.   The accident occurred at 8:30 am.

Jeep driver Birman Air of Nwali-6 is among the deceased killed in the accident while identity of the second is yet to be ascertained, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Binod Ghimire.

Birman had died on the way to the Team Hospital, Dadeldhura while being taken for treatment.Police recovered cash amounting to Rs. 128,000 from the accident site, said a local Prem  Bhat.

Meanwhile in Jhapa, 38-year-old Agni Bhattarai who was fatally injured in the motorcycle collision on Friday evening died this morning in course of treatment at Siliguri-based hospital, India.

Bhattarai was an employee at the Office of Mechinagar Municipality.
Other three injured in the same accident- Jitendra Budhathoki, Shyamlal Rajbanshi and Chandra Singh Rajbanshi are being treated at Siliguri, it is learnt. RSS
