Scribe murdered, FNJ furious, govt promises action and relief


JHAPA-  Avenues TV ‘s Jhapa district correspondent, Yadav Poudel, has been murdered by an unidentified group on Tuesday night in Birtamod.

Police personal investigating the murder informed that the deceased Paudel was found stabbed out side a hotel near the Birtamod Bus Park.
Along with A TV, Paudel was affiliated with Rajdhani Dainik National Daily news paper and a local vernacular news daily: Mechi Times.
Poudel’s face and body parts were bruised said the police source.  Acting on the case the police has detained twelve persons in relation to the murder.

Meanwhile an emergency meeting of the Federation of Nepalese Journanlists has on Tuesday has decided to sent a team of journalist to Jhapa to aide in the investigation.
In a press release issued by the meeting, it has demanded immediate actions against those involved in the murder from the government.
Meanwhile the government has promised action against culprits and relief to the bereaved family.
PM Baburam Bhattarai conveyed the message to Gaule by calling him personally informed sources near Gaule.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Bijay Kumar Gachhadar said he has already directed the local security mechanism to probe into the incident.
Gachhadar also Gaule and expressed his concern over the incident.
