Schools to be closed in Parsa and Sunsari due to cold wave


PARSA:
Following the extreme coldness in the district, Districh Educational Office (DEO) has decided to close the schools in the districts from Sunday for 10 days.
The mercury has dipped in resulting cold wave for last few days in the districts. The normal life has been also affected due to the extreme coldness.
The meeting of the District Educational Committee Parsa has taken the decision of shutting down the schools. The DEO has said that the decision was taken in view to be safe from the cold as per the suggestions from the guardians, teachers, among others.
Meanwhile, DEO Sunsari has also decided to close all the schools for Sunday and Monday after the acute cold followed by cold wave affected normal life.
The hospitals in the Sunsari and Parsa have said that common cold, cough, fever, asthma and orthopedic problems have increased especially among the children and due to cold followed by thick fog and cold wave.
