KATHMANDU: The South Asian Football Federation (SAAF) U-18 Men’s Football Championship is going to be held in Nepal from 20 to 29 September later this year.
The meeting of the SAAF held here decided to permit Nepal to host the championship, according to All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
Similarly, SAAF Championship U-15 would be held from 22 to 31 August in India while women’s U-15 would be held either in Bhutan or Bangladesh from 9 to 18 October this year.
SAAF’s first annual general assembly was also held on Tuesday itself since the election of the new executive committee.
Earlier the decision was made to hold the AGM in Sri-Lanka but following the bomb explosions in Sri Lanka, the meeting was rescheduled for Kathmandu.
