RPP-Nepal decides not to organize bandh in future

KATHMANDU: If you are facing problem due to frequent bandhs (shutdown strike) organized by different political parties and groups demanding fulfillment of their demands, there is a good news for you as the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP-Nepal) has decided not to organize any bandhs in the future.

Chairperson of RPP-Nepal, a pro-royalist party, Kamal Thapa has said that the party will announce its commitment to never call for a Nepal bandh in its manifesto.

“Strikes hinder economic progress of the country and daily life of people. RPP-Nepal is committed to not call for bandhs and we have included this in our manifesto,” said party spokesperson Raja Ram Shrestha

Shrestha informed that the party is preparing viciously for the CA election and is in the final stages of announcing candidates. “We had been called for a new election since over three years and have been preparing. In the next 2-3 days, all the names will be announced.”

The party is trying to cash the growing frustration of the people against the political parties for failure to draft the new constitution by the first constituent assembly. The party has been saying that it will raise the agenda of reviving the constitutional monarchy and Hindu Kingdom in the upcoming election of the Constituent Assembly.
