Rock of Mount Everest installed at Dead Sea of Israel


Pushpa Shrestha / TEL AVIV: A rock of Mount Everest, the highest peak of the world, has been installed in Ecological Park of Dead Sea in Israel, the lowest place of the World.

Israeli Minister of Tourism of state Israel Dr.Uzi Landau, Ambassador of Nepal to the state Prahlad Kumar Prasai, Mayor of Tamar Regional Council Mr Dov Litvinoff among other delegates attended the ceremony organized to install the stone.

The stone was installed to promote mutual relations between two countries and contribute for the promotion of tourism potentials of two countries. A rock from the Dead Sea was installed to Namche area of Solukhumbu district last month at the presence of Joint Secretary of the Foreign Ministry Purna Chandra Bhattarai, Mayor of Tamar Regional Council Mr Dov Litvinoff and Ambassador of Nepal Israel Hanan Goder among others.
