KATHMANDU;- The government has requested all concerned not to hold unnecessary gatherings, conferences, processions, and festivals with effect from midnight today.
The Kathmandu District Administration Office has issued a notice putting a prohibition on holding of large gatherings including meetings and conference or rallies , reasoning that there the risk of corona virus infection continues. “As the risk of infection of COVID-19 is still persistent, people should not go out unnecessarily, gather, crowd, hold rallies and take part in jatra or festivals,” reads the notice.
