N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Rastriya Prajatantra Party, (RPP) leader Rajendra Lingden has announced his candidature for the post of party president.
Organizing a ‘candidate announcement program’ in Kathmandu on Thursday, Linden accepted the proposal of RPP leader Dhawal Shamsher Rana and announced his candidature for the post of chairperson at the upcoming general convention.
“On the advice of my friends, especially before the formal launch of this campaign, the leader Dhawal Shamsher Rana has proposed to me. I gladly accept this and declare myself ready to be a candidate,” said Lingden.
Announcing his candidature for the post of party president, Linden said that there was no place for the RPP to be weakened and weakened, adding that the 31-year history of the party was a history of failure. Despite the unification of the party, the chairperson said that the party could not move forward with the current leadership as it could not give new direction and energy to the party.
