KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has urged all concerned to protect the Bouddha monasteries and maintain cleanliness and greenery in the surrounding.
At a meeting with the officials of Nepal Bajrayan Mahabihar management committee and Kathmandu Valley Mahasthabir and Sthabir in her residence on Thursday, President Bhandari viewed that government could hold discussion with all stakeholders regarding the Guthi bill. She appreciated the role the Guthis have been playing for the conservation of cultural heritages, said dharmaguru Prof Dr Nareshman Bajrachaya quoting the President.
The President, as Prof Dr Bajracharya shared, wished the continuation of the role played by the Boudha gurus for the spread of Buddha’s teaching and peace.
On the occasion, he informed the President about Nepal Bajrayan Mahabihar which is under construction in Lumbini.
