JUMLA:- The District Administration Office, Jumla, has imposed prohibitory order in the district headquarters to stop the spread of coronavirus in community, to find out suspected persons and their test after staffs of Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS) tested positive for coronavirus.
As per the prohibitory order issued by Chief District Officer, Bhupendra Thapa, the order came into effect from 3:00 pm on June 24 until further notice.
The prohibitory order was issued as per the decision of COVID Prevention and Control Committee and District Security Committee.
Earlier, Karnali Academy of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital closed all its services including emergency and collected swab of all health workers of the Academy.
High alertness has been adopted after coronavirus was confirmed on five persons including four staffs of KAHS.
