Program organized in UK to celebrate birthday of former monarch


Bharat Chhetri / LONDON: The United Nationalist Organization United Kingdom has organized a program on July 7 to celebrate the 67th birth anniversary of former King Gyanendra.

People of different walks of life including professional, students and former British Gurkha soldiers have participated in the celebration.

Addressing the program Chairperson of the organization Bharat Chhetri thanked all for participating in the event. He also claimed that Hindu Religion and Monarchy were abolished from the country at the tune of foreigners. He also claimed that the institution of monarchy could not go away from the country only by the whim of some corrupt leaders.

He also claimed that the country should not be divided in the name of racism and territory. He also alleged that the corrupt leaders have been deceiving to the country by spending millions of rupees in the name of drafting constitution.

Speaking at the same program leader of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Roshan Sapkota claimed that the leaders have been trying to delete the history by ousting the institution of monarchy and Hindu Kingdom. He also claimed that some people have been posing threat to the national identity as the acts of constructing churches and changing religion by spending money of going on rapidly. He also underscored the need of monarchy in the country to play the role of guardian. He also added that all the Nepali people will get united and will be ready to face any challenge for restoring monarchy. Senior singer of Nepal Pabitra Man Shakya entertained all the participants by presenting songs with nationalist feeling.
