KATHMANDU:- Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Saturday said that he was doing his best in resolving disputes within the NCP so as to avert the party and country from meeting any accident.
“Problems will be resolved through any kind of agreement and consensus putting the country and people above all. Prime Minister’s wishes are also to move ahead with consensus and agreement,” he said at a gathering of NCP cadres at Madi in Chitwan.
Stating that the people supported communist movements, the former PM pledged that people’s faith in the party would not be made to lose. “People voted for the party with a hope of the party pursuing socialism. None should deviate from it. No time should come to regret when taking a decision in haste,” he said.
Asking party cadres to favour unity at this time, he urged them not to engage in any kind of activities in haste.
In another context, he said many long-term projects have been initiated in Madi for the development of the area.
