KATHMANDU:- Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is leaving on a three-day official visit to India starting April 1, 2022 at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Deuba will be accompanied by his wife Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba.
The entourage will include Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Narayan Khadka and other senior ministers along with secretaries and officials of the Government of Nepal, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, PM Deuba is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu.
On April 2, PM Deuba will hold a delegation-level talks with Indian PM Modi at Hyderabad House, New Delhi, where the Indian PM will host a luncheon in honor of PM Deuba and the delegation.
Similarly, External Affairs Minister as well as National Security Advisor of the Government of India will call on PM Deuba, who is also scheduled to address a gathering of business leaders in the Indian capital.
PM Deuba will then visit Varanasi before returning to Kathmandu on April 3.
The visit is expected to further strengthen the multifaceted, age-old, and cordial ties between Nepal and India, stated a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. RSS
