Prime Minister Deuba prepares to expand cabinet

Urges coalition leaders to recommend names of ministers

N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has asked the leaders of the ruling coalition for a list of ministers. At a meeting of the top leaders of the ruling coalition in Baluwatar on Friday morning, Prime Minister Deuba urged them to name the ministers soon.

Rastriya Janamorcha Vice-Chairperson Durga Poudel said that Prime Minister Deuba had requested to finalize the names of the ministers in his party saying that it was too late to complete the cabinet.

Poudel said, “It is too late for the prime minister. Now the cabinet should be completed soon.” You have asked the party to decide the ministers. ‘

The meeting was attended by UCPN (M) Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samanwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav, and Rastriya Janamorcha’s Durga Poudel.

Nepali Congress President Deuba was sworn in as the Prime Minister on July 13. But so far he has not been able to complete the cabinet. At present, there are only four ministers and one minister of state in the government.
