N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the party’s general convention will be held in August 2021.
Deuba said in a statement on Wednesday that “the party’s general convention is not only a technical or administrative matter but also an important political campaign and I am well aware that it is a great sacrifice for the vitality of the party.”
Deuba said that he was fully committed to holding the general convention and urged the party leaders and cadres not to get confused.
Deuba has expressed his commitment to hold the general convention anyway as there is confusion over whether the general convention scheduled to be held in August will be held in the Congress.
“No one should be misled or misled about the convention. Instead, the party’s general convention is to be held by all the leaders and members of the party, ‘he said.
He said that the general convention will be held within the stipulated time after completing all the pre-preparations for the convention within the months of June and July.
‘Manages the active membership of the party, prepares all the conventions from ward to the state level, including the general convention. An election committee and an active membership investigation committee have been formed for this purpose, ‘said Deuba.
